Successfully manage a number of Risk Compliance security projects with the aim of reducing risks associated with Identity Access Management with a summed up budget of $3M+ and across a wide range of technologies including Custom-built Digital Portal using J2EE, Wintel Active Directory, Virtualisation, UNIX (RedHat, Solaris and LDAP), Firewall and Switches VLANs.
Key areas of responsibility include:
• End to End Project Management from scoping, planning and analysis, implementation through to a successful launch using both Waterfall as well as Agile methodologies (specifically SCRUM)
• Integrating the Password Mgmt. System to over 5000 hosts across the globe reducing the risk with 20,000+ Generic Accounts
• Developing a Front-End Portal Application that integrates to the Password Mgmt. System for the provisioning of Generic Accounts (Create, Modify, and Enable/Disable) using Scrum methodology.
• Chair Program Review Group meetings with senior stakeholders for updates and projects required decisions.
• Developing and managing Project End-to-End schedule in MS Project including major milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinating Iteration and Release planning workshops for Agile driven projects.
• Running regular status update meetings with the technical teams to track schedule progress and identify any variance.
• Providing project status reports against baseline plans, with analysis of variations & assessment of risks to future deliverables.
• Present Briefing Packs to Investment Committee to secure funds for projects upcoming phases.
• Managing Project financials, including monthly resource allocation, vendor commitments and tracking project actual expenditure versus forecast.
• Managing project vendors according to SOWs, tracking their deliverables, progress & approving of milestone payments.
• Establishing, maintaining & tracking key project/program controls to ensure the appropriate level of governance is enforced.
• Identifying project risks and issues and managing them throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Working with the testing team during testing and defect management to resolve any defects.
• Working with Operations as a key stakeholder to ensure successful and seamless project transition into service.
Major Achievements:
• Successfully completed a project that integrates Privileged Account repository system with the Password Mgmt System using vendor’s API by adopting SCRUM methodology that helped overcoming a range of challenges including system limitations and leading a distributed virtual team across different time zones (US, Australia and Manila)
• Successfully managed a project that integrates the Password Mgmt System with the bank Infrastructure systems such as Unix, Active Directory, Out-of-Band Systems. The rollout has spanned a large number of hosts across the fleet.
